How will I get hired at Olive Garden? That is the question you are probably asking yourself right now. The Olive Garden is a huge restaurant chain that offers up the finest of Italian delicacies. Well I do have to say it is Americanized a bit but the food is always great The salad and bread-sticks they serve up as an appetizer are to die for. The entrees are rather large and they also began offering a never ending pasta bowl, or all you can eat. Here are some things to keep in mind or tips for the Olive Garden Interview.

1. The application process- I see this all the time, people coming in at the wrong time. It is like a telemarketer who calls during dinner time. You have to know when the restaurant is the busiest and don't show up during that time. If the place you want to work at is a breakfast place then don't show up at breakfast. For the Olive Garden I would suggest going in around three or four in the afternoon. This is after the busy lunch and before the dinner crowd begins to arrive.

2. The interview- Sometimes the hiring manager will have time to interview you right away and maybe even start you working within a few days. This will all depend on how understaffed they are or what their specific needs are.

3. Dress- Make sure you are wearing attire that is professional. The Olive Garden is a large corporate chain so they are going to have many rules that are passed down by corporate executives. You will have an employee handbook which you should read and learn the basic do's and don'ts of Olive Garden's policies.

4. Be energetic- This mainly applies if you are looking to become a server or a hostess at the Olive Garden but it helps with all jobs. If you want to work in the kitchen washing dishes this isn't as important. You want to show the interviewer a high level of interest and energy, this will but you ahead of anyone who doesn't seem as friendly.
