CVS has taken the retail pharmacy world by storm. They have merged with small pharmacies and built numerous stores nationwide. The thing that sets CVS apart from its competitors is their fantastic customer service. Learn how to do a great job during the Interview at CVS. Here are a few questions you could potentially face when interviewing at CVS.

Tell me about the worst and best boss you ever had?

In my personal experience companies love mentorship programs and they want people who want to learn and teach. If you have to talk about a boss you love or your favorite boss make sure you incorporate teaching. Let the interviewer know that your former boss was someone who not only taught you but would record or be involved in keeping track of your progress. The worst boss would be that you didn't give you enough work so you weren't being challenged enough and you need mental stimulation.

What do you like to do when you are not at work?

Companies love work life balance so you have to show you are balanced and won't burn out on the job. They also love candidates who volunteer. People who volunteer are good people and they have an advantage for most part on being hired. Don't make up volunteer work or anything like that but come up with a hobby or something you like to do that doesn't involve you getting hurt in any way. If you get hurt you can't work and that is what the company wants you to do is work.

How would you describe your ideal work environment?

You have to tailor this answer to the job description. Some people like to work alone some like to work as a group, some like to be leaders and some followers. Read the job description and make it the best fit for what they want. If the job is a supervisor then you want to paint yourself as a leader. A person who likes to help a team succeed and teaches them the tools to do so. If you are interviewing for a backroom stocker position then you don't have to be as personable or a huge team player. You aren't going to be in contact with customers so don't describe your ideal situation as helping customers.

Keep all of this in mind stepping into the interview at CVS Pharmacy and you will get hired at CVS.
