Search Engine Optimization or SEO is the main principle to be concerned with trying to generate traffic via a search engine. Some webmasters or article writers make costly mistakes that hurt SEO. We will look at a few key things that will show you how to avoid these mistakes.

• The SEO Stutterer- The person who is writing an article and is using keywords over and over. SEO has to come natural in the flow of your writing. If you are writing a particular subject and want to emphasize certain text don't go crazy and overdue it. If you were talking to a friend let's say about buying a car for the first time. If you repeated that phrase ten times during a conversation then you probably wouldn't have a friend any longer. It is simply annoying to keep repeating the same thing. Think of a search engine as your friend and make sure not to annoy it.
• Write enough words- This isn't always true but for the most part you want to make sure you are writing enough. I could probably work on this but I don't like my hubs to be too lengthy myself. Make sure you have at least 350 words. Search engines like content again don't over due it.
• Building Links- When you build links you want to be specific in titling them. If you are writing about fast cars don't just build a link and tell readers to click on it. You want to add more information so search engines will show you some love. Write something like click here for information on super fast sports cars.
• Use keywords in your title. If you are writing about those fast cars we discussed and the title of your article has no mention of fast cars then you will more than likely be indexed in the search engine. Make sure to emphasize your keywords in the title and have them in your body of work.
